When I was at the homeless shelter I gained a lot of weight due to the kinds of crap stuffed in those meals, lots of stuff that makes you fat. Wonderful fatty stuff, you thought would be healthy but the prepackaged contents and having to serve massive amounts of meals to people well, all those additives get you. When I was at the homeless shelter I gained a lot of weight due to the kinds of crap stuffed in those meals, lots of stuff that makes you fat.

Wonderful fatty stuff, you thought would be healthy but the prepackaged contents and having to serve massive amounts of meals to people well, all those additives get you.

While I was at that place I used to call home, I would perhaps eat a slice of toast for breakfast and lunch, and maybe a little more for dinner. With these guys at the Salvation Army, I'm gaining a lot of weight, and it's actually a little disturbing to me (Yeah, I'm calling 10 pounds a lot). I get plenty of exercise now, because I have to walk everywhere that the bus system doesn't reach, and I'm hoping that this is why my weight gain is just so rapid. My metabolism is more of a joke than anything else. <:) >>1

You've certainly had your share of stress here lately. Also, if you're suddenly eating less than you were, your metabolism goes into starvation mode and shuts down.
