My PayPerPost story.

So, about six months back, I had discovered [tag]BlogInSpace[/tag].com, which seemed like a novel idea. I’d get my blog broadcast into space for free, and perhaps scare the aliens away from this planet several centuries in the future, thereby saving us or damning us. While I was there, I saw some information on the [tag]BlogStar Network[/tag], which hadn’t launched at that time.

It sounded interesting at the time, especially with a hint at making money while blogging, so I jumped aboard then.

At the end of June, I get an email: “BlogStar Network is now [tag]PayPerPost[/tag]
Curious, I go to peek at this thing. “Hmm… Sounds sneaky.”

I check it out, and they say that all you need to do is get a blog in there, and start posting.

My first day in, I posted three of the entries, and let them sit there. I sorta let the whole thing sit back for a month, not thinking that I would even get paid, or would see some sort of delay in payment.

When the first few payments ticked in, I was unbelievably astounded. I felt like I had won the lottery or something, and was telling the family about it. Mother came home from the hospital that night, too. I told her about it the next morning, while I was checking her blood sugar, and she said to me, “Justin, it’s about time you start making money with that thing.”

Little did I know that she was going to pass away later that evening.

So, with the loss of my mother, whom I love dearly, I had nothing else to do but find ways to make money, and make it fast.
I started dabbling in PayPerPost on a regular basis at this point.

To date, I have been paid $1,171.76 by the guys at PayPerPost. They only owe me $93.50, some lime green silly putty, and a PayPerPost shirt. :)

What do I do with the money?
I pay bills. Lots of bills. I put gas in my car, and have a little left over to eat lunch at work. :)

I am daring enough to have a celebration pizza for dinner tonight. Just pepperoni and black olives. :)
