A minor update:

Regarding the PayPerPost puzzle I mentioned earlier today, I haven’t seen any new pieces. I have a total of fifteen pieces of a potential 64 pieces, which means the rest will quite likely be rushed out in the wee hours of the morning over the next few days.

There’s also an awful lot of piece number 28 out there, which is disturbing.

The PPP crew was smart enough to remember to curl-proof themselves, which was a good thing for them (though bad for me…). :)

I just hope I can pull this off and get all the pieces.

It would be quite nice to get all the pieces and assemble them together. About $1000 nicer than I feel now. :)

Well, when I determined it was my video card that was the culprit, by picking up an old used nVidia TNT2 video card, I never realized how dependent I was on DirectX.

When I tried to run Anarchy Online, so I could go play something, it told me no - there were no DirectX compatible devices.
The rest of my games told me this, too.

So, I haven’t been able to play a game on this computer that I’d like to play, in several days.
This sucks on so many levels. :(

Guess it means I get to do some writing, eh?

So, it seems that PayPerPost has some big news that they want to announce in the form of puzzle pieces.
As most of you are aware, [tag]PayPerPost[/tag] offers ways to make money by blogging.

I am hoping to find all the puzzle pieces in the payperpostbignews puzzle before everyone else, because of the hefty reward involved. I am so going to be allllll over the internets today and tomorrow, just for this. :D

Here is piece number 28 for the [tag]payperpostbignews[/tag] puzzle.

Here’s hoping! Keep your fingers CROSSED!

I find out I have arthritis in my left hip, which explains why it felt good as long as I kept it warm under the blanket, but became a pain (pun intended) when I wanted to work.
Some of my friends on IRC joked about starting a fund to get me a cane. :p

My left arm’s status is still undetermined, and it is recommended that I go visit an orthopaedist to have the arm and shoulder area looked at. It may be a pinched nerve.

My video card appears to be the culprit in my system failures recently. It’s currently being replaced by an older than sin nVidia TNT2 32 MB card. This means, no games to relax with after work, because the card doesn’t do DirectX. At all.

I was hired, and terminated, by my new job in the same week. Turns out that my current job and the new job’s hours interfere with each other far too much, since I can’t get my current job to respect my availability. It’ll be okay, though. I found paper copies of my resume, and I can take those with me tomorrow to Randstad, to see what they have available for me to work on my days off.

I tried to eat a habanero pepper while at work one day. I got about half way into the pepper when it set me on fire. Never again, unless someone pays me to do it.
It was funny that my lips and tongue began to go numb from the sheer amount of capsaicin smeared over them. :)

This has been your recap of September for the user named Xial. Let us begin October!
