I’m a hypocrite.

I ended up smacking myself in hypocrisy today.

I noticed that I tell people to upgrade their browser, get the latest patches for their OS, and stay on top of their software updates.
Yet here I am, using Windows 2000. It’s out of date, in that extended lifetime thing that Microsoft does, and is slowly becoming incompatible with a lot of the latest software and hardware on the market.

It means that I should be listening to my own words, and upgrade to Windows XP.

I guess that when I can afford it, I’ll do just that. I’ll have to upgrade to WinXP Professional, though, since I use Win2K Pro (legally, I might add - I have a legit license laying around in one of these boxes).

What sucks is, WinXP Pro is that much more expensive to buy the upgrade or full version. :(

Lately, I’ve been talking on IRC and in local life to my friends about how I make money with PayPerPost.

I explain to them how simple it is to do: All you need is a blog that is at least 90 days old, with at least 20 posts (preferably not of dubious quality, so actually write something meaningful, please), and your last post needs to have been in the last seven days. You look through the list, find something that interests you, and you write about it. You don’t have to sit there and push links for Viagra or Propecia or Vioxx. Just write a post that has meaning about the service or product in question, or about the topic at hand (like I did with the hookahs and with VoIP), and submit your entry.

Once they review your entry, if it meets the requirements, it’s approved. You simply leave the post in place for at least thirty days, and reap the benefits of being paid.

Sounds pretty simple, doesn’t it?

If it sounds interesting to you, give it a try. Go sign up, and use me as your referral. I’m (’payperpost.com’ at ‘pixel echoes’ ‘.NET’) :)

They pay me. Why aren’t you letting them pay you yet? PayPerPost.
