One: I installed another WordPress plugin (this one), just for me. It allows me to view the basic stats for this blog without having to go log in to Google Analytics.
If it were to show me the information that I wanted (How many IE vs ZA WARUDO!!!! users are here), I’d be even happier, but knowing what’s popular (My hairy leg with PayPerPost Dot Com! written on it) lets me know what I should do (find a plugin that works with Sprint PictureMail, and start flinging phone posts here, ror).
Two: Colleen, the first person to earn ONE THOUSAND DORRAR — er, $1000 from PayPerPost commented on MY blog. MY BLOG! *girlish squee!* Yeah, that’s pretty exciting to me. What excites me more is that unless I am misreading the information she has on her ‘blog, she’s local to me.
Now, I’m not going to do the creepy stalker thing (I’m not capable of that), but it’s fun to know that there’s someone else here in Tampa doing this. ![]()
She even has a Gravatar, too.
Three: You may have noticed a div in my last PPP post that looks somewhat like this:
I was reading across the blogosphere about PayPerPost, and I found one thing that a lot of bloggers shared in their dislike of the service: There’s very little disclosure, letting readers know that they’re dealing with a monetized post. So, from today onward, unless I’m forced to stop, I’ll be adding a tag to remind users that the post *is* monetized.
