This will likely be the last post I write from my current house here.
As I type, most of the house is packed up, and loaded on a U-Haul Truck of DEATH outside. This computer and a bit of other fluff is all that remains for me to pack up, so I shall also depart soon.
The downside: I’ll be offline for a couple of days while I wait for all services to be restored at the new house.
I may have to switch jobs to be sure I can foot my bills.
The upside:
I will be much, much closer to in-town things, shopping, better job opportunities, social spots, etc.
I might not have to live my life on the computer, if I make friends up that way.
I will be merely a few blocks away from a park I used to go to as a kid, with my dad. That means free exercise. I might even take up Tennis or something, since there are actually tennis courts there. ![]()
I will have real privacy!
I may have to switch jobs to be sure I can foot my bills.
Wish us luck as we break in a new house!
Cheers,
— the staff and author at Eau Salée Lunaire.
