Overworked, Underpaid…
Consider this an update:
I’m going to bed in a few minutes here. I’ve been working 40 hours a week, but thanks to the jerks at Asset Acceptance, I’m not bringing home all that I’ve earned, which is a fair bit perturbing, especially with us planning on moving. This dampens the pockets and the spirit, since it does feel like I’m working too much for too little.
Result: I’ve dropped a lot of things, or changed their payment patterns. I dropped Prepaid Legal, because it can add up to a bit of extra cash I can’t afford — overdrafts on empty bank accounts hurt, especially when you get more than one in a month.
I long ago dropped my GameFly account. Great service, but I wasn’t using it.
I’m about to have to seriously consider a temporary second job until we move, so I can raise the funds to erase my credit record once and for all, and get a fresh start.
I still read y’all on LJ, though it’s a lot more sparse.
I’m going to bed. I can’t walk straight.
I know how the job thing goes with doing so much work and not getting anything out of it. Been trying to figure out a way to get a hold of you recently seeing as I’m not using aim. Email me or something huh? Hope things get better for you
I know how that goes with working till your almost dead and getting almost nothing out of it.. Unless you’re a corporate bitch for some firm or office or some kind of college degree’d job, you don’t get squat.. I’ve been trying to get ahold of you for a little bit now since I haven’t been on aim and my name has changed a few times there anyway due to drama. Email me or something.
