Let’s keep it brief.

I have to run to work in a couple of minutes, so, recap:

I’m alive.

I’ve been sick for a few days. On antibiotics, so I’m recovering. Flu-like symptoms and pharyngitis.

Wordpress is now version 2.0.1, and I’m using it. Trying out this ‘tag’ tag, to see what the hell it does.

I got my tongue pierced.

Didn’t swell much at all.

I’ll likely be onto a normal length rod by the end of the week.

If more people got their tongues pierced, I’d think there would be less halitosis in the world. :p

See you later.

Overworked, Underpaid…

Consider this an update:

I’m going to bed in a few minutes here. I’ve been working 40 hours a week, but thanks to the jerks at Asset Acceptance, I’m not bringing home all that I’ve earned, which is a fair bit perturbing, especially with us planning on moving. This dampens the pockets and the spirit, since it does feel like I’m working too much for too little.

Result: I’ve dropped a lot of things, or changed their payment patterns. I dropped Prepaid Legal, because it can add up to a bit of extra cash I can’t afford — overdrafts on empty bank accounts hurt, especially when you get more than one in a month.
I long ago dropped my GameFly account. Great service, but I wasn’t using it.

I’m about to have to seriously consider a temporary second job until we move, so I can raise the funds to erase my credit record once and for all, and get a fresh start.

I still read y’all on LJ, though it’s a lot more sparse.
I’m going to bed. I can’t walk straight.
