WordPress 2.0 beta 2; Wireless Headphones; Firefox 1.5.

It’s pretty sad that I can condense the majority of my post into the title.

In short:

I’m now running WordPress 2.0 beta 2, with a modified version of an old theme for a version of WordPress predating 1.5.
The backend of WordPress 2.0 has changed a lot. Added some nice stuff, and a touch of AJAX, a rich text editor so I can see what is going out before it goes out, and fixes the damn image uploader.

I now own a pair of wireless headphones. I bought them at the MarketPro show this past weekend for $20. Not a bad price for a pair of decent noise-blocking headphones. They do have a minor tinge of static in them from time to time, but what do you expect for 900 MHz technology?

I’m now running Firefox 1.5 final for Windows here. Unlike my tradition before Firefox 1.0, in which I’d run damn near every nightly version of the browser, I’m just running the full versions now. I was tired of the lack of extensions which occur a lot, since some authors get lazy and don’t even bother updating them, leaving their fanbase to fend for themselves.
Sure, I can edit the XPI, hack the chrome a little to make my favorite extension work, but who the hell says I want to do that?

Oh, wait. Restarting Fx now, with hacked chrome for Torrentbar.
