Mmkay. I signed up at PhoneHog a couple of days ago, so I could earn a few minutes through them. Seems they give out a referral link when you sign up, and if you get people to sign up and complete one offer, you get 10 minutes added to your account.

If you’ve got a throwaway email address, would you mind signing up and helping me earn a few minutes so I can place a phone call or two?

There’re a couple of offers that only require a zip code. You don’t have to finish the signup, it seems; As long as they get the zip code, they’re happy.

Ever just feel unsatisfied with your current career?

I feel like that right now.

If anyone within a 10 mile radius of 33611 is looking for someone for clerical work, perhaps 20 to 40 hours a week for at least $7.50 an hour… o_o;

Okay. Recently, I won $62 on a couple of scratchoff tickets.
I decided that I’d get into the portable music player fad going on, and get myself an RCA Lyra.

After all, radio in the area sucks, CD players that can carry enough music cost about the same, and the device is easier to expand.

My biggest problem with the Lyra, though, is management software.
I don’t really like MusicMatch Jukebox, so far - the interface is irritating, at best.
I don’t like how it ignores my system default browser to open an IE window for things.
I really don’t like the skinned interface: The lack of skins that themselves do not look hideous while providing proper contrast for text and background makes it harder to use.
What’s most upsetting is, anything played in it doesn’t get sent to my Audioscrobbler account.

Sveta Portable Audio gets the job done, allows me to choose a bitrate BELOW 64 kbps (48kbps WMA is fine for some of my music), but is not free.
Guess I’ll pay for it after all.

Also, on an aside, this is to see what’s going on with my feeds.

I guess I should announce that I’ve written a script for the Greasemonkey extension.

For those of you who follow FChan, you’re probably quite aware that in general, the discussion threads are where you can find all the images, but conversely, that’s where much of the drama is. “Wah wah, do not post, blah blah blah, whatever”. Right.

FapChannel is designed for you to just pop in the thread, and see ONLY the thumbnails of images, which you may click to pass to another tab and look at the image, enhancing the ‘fappability’ of F(ap)Chan.

Have a look in the Spoogemonkey directory to see what’s going on, or install it by right-clicking this link and choosing ‘install user script’.

Easy enough, right?

To turn it off, just click the monkey in your status bar and refresh the page.
