This is an unofficial build of the web browser “K-Meleon”, based on Mozilla 1.8 Alpha 2.
The browser is Windows only, but is a native Gecko-based browser, which quells some of the Windows gripes (”Mozilla is sooooo slow~~~”, for example) out there.
I’m downloading this right now, to reinitialize my USB stick with a new offering. There are rumors that this build accepts Firefox extensions. If this is true, it very well may replace Firefox on my stick, since Firefox leaves things to be desired… such as defining exactly where I want to cache things. I was happy using the library’s WinTemp directory, and flushing it with a well-placed rm -rf before leaving.
