Well, Charley was a big fizzle here in Tampa. It curved on shore a few hundred miles south of here, into Ft. Myers / Cape Coral.
Unfortunately, I have a friend down that way who I’m worrying about (lj:tagrineth:, I believe it was?), because that’s *her* home area.
Charley proceeded to roar out of here as a Category 4 hurricane to the north-east, leaving Tampa just a bit of unstable atmosphere and plenty of thunderstorms the next day.
So, I spent 2 nights on a hard floor with a pillow and 3 Harry Potter books for no bloody reason. :-X
