[...] When I decided to get down and dirty, and go under Flock’s hood, like I have done countless times for K-Meleon and Firefox, I noticed that Flock, too, suffers from the same exact issues that the aforementioned browsers all suffered from: The JAR files have terrible compression. It looks like they were all packed in a mode that only stores files, which is not bad, except that if you wanted to try putting Flock on a USB Key drive, it takes up a bit of extra space. My prior experience with K-Meleon gave me an understanding of what would be safe for compression and in general, how far to go. [...]

No, Firesomething isn't that small. Trust me on this. Install it into a brand new directory, as bare bones as you can get it, and tell me how much space it takes up on a Windows system.

Only thing small about Firesomething is that its installer is being compressed with the 7-Zip algorithm instead of just zip or bzip2. :)

Trust me when I say Firesomething is huuuuuge. :)

I also wouldn't even consider using it if it were based on KHTML. KHTML is *nasty*. :X
(Presto isn't much better: It breaks for WordPress. :D)

Firewhatever 0.9.3 (currently known as Firefox) is pretty small, actually. I don’t know K-Meleon, but the first thing that came to my mind is how nasty that it isn’t a KHTML browser but a Gecko one, with such a name.
