I don’t want to go to Job Corps.
So, I tried to get my job back at Target.
However, I hate Monica with a passion.
She refuses to rehire me because I gave a 2 week notice, and someone goofed on the scheduling.
Trust me, I’m going to be all over her like flies on cow pies for the next couple of weeks. And at no point will I result to harsh language. I’m serious.
Thus, I’m out and about, hunting for a new job (not like I liked Target that much to really care about T-1051). So, Here I am, at the library, working on my résumé (work in progress, definitely not ready for print).
Then I’ll head out for a decent haircut, shave again just to be safe, and keep looking.
I really dislike having to live off my mother (though I found a part time delivery job: mother refuses to let me take it, “because it is her car, not Justin’s car” — It’s MONEY, mother. Money I need right now, so I can get my own phone turned back on, and send something to lj:forsolei: to help cover any possible shipping costs, and pay FedEx for that big footlocker that they wouldn’t return to me (I couldn’t find the paper saying I sent it, but had the card (which most places offer a card lookup of sorts, knowing how… flaky paper is) with me), saying that it had likely been sent already, despite the thing bouncing on my paypal card…), so I’m hoping for something quick.
Might even apply at Burger King tomorrow.
So, today… 1 application in (Albertsons) with a bit of a reference note from a couple of ladies I’ve worked with from Target, 1 request to check back Thursday for applications (Dollar Tree), 1 application not completable (delivery job), 1 to complete after I finish said résumé (at Master Packing), 2 more slots to seek to fill.
Busy day, indeed.
But I like it busy. Keeps me sane, because sitting around drives me bloody nuts.
Perhaps I should get a copy of the paper today or tomorrow to see about any possible job opportunities in any clerical situations.
And next week, if no one has replied, I’ll go sign up for some temp work. I think Spartan still does that car auction thing, which is good for a quick 25 a week, at least. It’ll give me the rest of my bill money for the house for this month, which’ll help.
Just wish me luck, and no worries, guys. I’m sure to pull through.
