Alex Chiu, and his immortality rings.
What I want to know is, does he really send them if I get the 80 unique clicks? ![]()
And, does anyone care to help me find out?
If our world was... just like a human, would we abuse it so?

And, does anyone care to help me find out?
I’m sore, and I’m tired.
I’m working on a new personal description now.
I’m wondering where my vixen is.
I go to bed now.
And damn you, Audlink, for not outputting decent XHTML!
Decided to look at my LJ client, see how many times my main journal got removed from someone’s list.
I’d like to say “Thank you” to everyone who deleted that account from their lists.
But then again, I guess I no longer care.
I’ll just sit over here now, hacking away at my own blog. Maybe I’ll move that RSS aggregator idea to something much lower on the list.
Blogetarian will never be. I don’t have the skill or patience to write it.
Is it too much to ask for an aggregator that will handle RSS and Atom, and email you once every few hours with the results, so that you can keep up with several services at once?
Hell, it’s not like I’m making it hard on LJ users to read me - They can read me all from one interface now, barring my paged/more entries using lj:xial_wp: (thanks, Ralesk), so they don’t have to go to some other server, and see how I’m doing.
Am I hated for being different?
Because I don’t like these furry cons that everyone is about to start prattling on and on about?
Because I don’t want to run out and fuck like rabbits like some?
Because I’m wanting to do more than sit in front of a PC?
Because I enjoy the warmth of someone’s voice in my ear?
Nah. I’m hated because I don’t like using LiveJournal, because I don’t want to fit in some common mold, because I wanted to use the space I pay for each and every year. Because I’m not “in”.
Well, thanks a lot. Really.
Well, those of you who read my ‘blog from my site have noticed a new look slip in overnight.
I like it, and would like to give credit to OSWD’s haran for the layout (Links when I get home).
And, for my CSS/Cross-Browser scripting junkies at home, perhaps you could help me find a solution that works favorably with this:
See the top tabs? I’d like to have a cross-broswer menu system working with it.
I’ve tried implementing two of them that I found at A List Apart, but neither of them would work for me, it seems.
All the stuff I want to use is formatted as a list:
See the archives on the right? I want to move those to the top, so that I can use the side space for more useful stuff. Same with the Categories. Search would be a bit trickier: I want to mouse over it and have it appear, but not disappear until I clicked away from it on something else, such as empty page space.
Perhaps I missed a key element, perhaps something else. If you can help me get a mouseover menu system (preferably one that also works with tabbing on the keyboard, as well), I would be very grateful.
If all else fails, I’ll just go and rape someone’s VB3 and steal its javascript for my own use. :
It seems that Ralesk has created a new feed for my journal.
If you really want to be almost all kinds of lazy, check out lj:xial_wp: - this one is based on my Atom feed, and thus contains far, far more data, and richer, at that.
You can see graphics, some style, among things, and the entire post (it seems), using this version of the feed.
I must note, however, that you only need to be subscribed to one or the other.
So, you can unsubscribe from lj:xial_: if you’d like, and switch to lj:xial_wp:
I’m adding my aux accounts to that feed, to help lower its cost, for those of you with fewer syn points.
I would have used the Atom feed on lj:xial_: sooner, if I knew that LJ would allow syndicating via Atom, since they keep butchering my RSS2 feed.
Ah, well. Now to go check why title’s not being delivered properly via Atom, and enjoy my vixen. ![]()
Well, apparently, I didn’t bust feeds, so I can rejoice.
I’ll probably spend a bit of time retooling this, once 1.2 goes final (rumor mill says we’ll see it in a week’s time…), because I would love to hack the hell out of it and make it do things I want it to do, such as word counts per post.
I hope the Amazon Media Manager hack gets updated for 1.2, as well, because this one I can’t edit at the moment.
Ah, well. I really should go to bed, because I’ve been up longer than I need to, especially with work in… 4.5 hours. Meh, but I can’t sleep, despite how tired I am.
