The first in April Fool’s jokes?
I think so. This is my birthday we’re talking about here, folks, so I have a good feel for a joke on it. ![]()
If our world was... just like a human, would we abuse it so?

The first in April Fool’s jokes?

Well, it’s with an amused expression that I say, “I know what hand lotion and sandalwood oil can do to a computer keyboard and a mouse.”
My damned family decided it’d be funnier than hell to pour hand lotion and sandalwood oil in my computer keyboard, thereby ruining it. This forced me to spend money I was trying NOT TO spend to replace it.
They also poured it in the underside of my optical mouse, which forced me to replace that, as well. They also smeared some on my monitor, but that, quite fortunately, was easy to wipe up.
Unfortunately, this type of vandalism just isn’t new to me. My family seems to be on this “subtle hints that I should move” kick, in that they will steal from me, break my shit, or just vandalize my property in general.
I need to learn enough PHP to create a page where I can insert my items, their current value, and then a switch that I can mark them BROKEN when I need to.
This would give you an idea of how much money this family is costing me. They’re keeping me broke, honestly, in their ’subtle ways’.
Hopefully that co-worker of mine will be ready to start the paperwork this week. I desperately need to have it done. -.-;
Well, there you have it, a rare moment of Angst in my weblog.

Your code has sinned.
Please see your local HTML Exorcist for a cure.
Just a friendly note from the management here. ![]()
(PS: Tell Microsoft to get a clue. Support PNG transparency now! Then you could do what you sought to do with proper CSS and have it work in that… antique browser.)
Yes, another meme. But heh, it’s content, so shup.
1. “pop” or “soda”? Soda.
2. chocolate or vanilla? Depends. In soda, vanilla. In candy, chocolate.
3. potato or rice? Depends on what I’m eating. I am, however, likely to go with the potato over the rice.
4. coffee or tea? Tea. period.
5. cell phone or email? Email. I don’t really like phones.
Well, I just discovered the Magnatune weblog (which is sadly powered by TypePad), and I decided to read up.
I have decided on one thing, however: I like John’s wife.
She had a conversative moment with one of those major label execs, and it was quite amusing, and very true.
Have a read?
While I’m at it, I would like to kindly reintroduce my Magnatune button to this iteration of Eau Salée Lunaire.
Okay. I’m off to have a bite to eat, something good to drink, and back to writing. ![]()
If you call me Xial, you’ve met me in the past two years or so, and know me either as a vixen, or as that crazy fool in #wordpress. You may also have spotted me at stories.com (now writing.com) , Once Upon a Paper, or many other places.
If you call me Stormis, SDK, Moon Spirit Fox, or MoonSpiritVulpine, you knew me just after my father died, and likely remember my having stormis.org (no link for you). You also knew me as a fox then, and most likely saw me frequenting the ZSNES Message Board before it turned to a flaming bag of hell.
If you call me Garnath, you knew me from back in the days when I frequented news://alt.fan.dragons, just before it turned to a flaming bag of hell.
If you call me Pern, then you knew me from when I was on Yahoo! Chat: Surfing the Web. You are also likely to be Ashley, who coined that nickname for me when I explained Garnath. It’s been a while since I left that flaming bag of hell. How’re you?
If you call me Truth Spirit Aura, TSAura, or The Other TSA, then you know me from Gaming Universe, where I started hanging out way back in 2001 or so.
If you call me AuraSoul, then ohmygods, you’re oldschool as hell, and really need to say hi. I was AuraSoul nearly a DECADE ago, on Yahoo!
If you call me Racielle or Teialantis, then you’ve either met me on Tapestries or in my IRC channel on DarkMyst.
If you call me and say, “Hi, Vixen!”, you’re most likely lj:forsolei:
If you call me isic6 or i6, then you know of my acting skills at ZSNES.
I’m capable of going further, but why bother?
Okay. I really don’t defrag often enough.
I found this out the hard way, especially when I went to defrag Vakuari (C:).
Rather than me describing it, just take a damn look. o_o;
Last time I defragged that drive was a few months back.
Incidentally, Windows is not installed on Vakuari. It’s installed on Baruto (D:), which was far less fragmented than that.
In other news, lj:tagrineth: sent me a stick of RAM to add to Glasswire (my current computer).
This is always good, especially when you aren’t breaking the 200MB mark with the amount of RAM you have. ![]()
